What are the requirements for applying to the online Post-Master’s FNP Certificate program at C-N?

To be admitted to the online Post-Master’s FNP Certificate program you must have the following:

  • NLN- or CCNE- accredited Master’s Degree in Nursing from a regionally accredited institution

  • 3.0 GPA (master’s program)

  • Three letters of recommendation

  • Active unencumbered RN license

  • Letter of personal goals and aspirations

  • Following admission – background check and drug screening will be required

How much does the Post-Master’s FNP Certificate program cost?

The FNP Certificate tuition is $650 per credit hour. Carson-Newman accepts many forms of financial and military aid, as well as employer tuition reimbursement. There are up to 32 credit hours in the FNP Certificate program, giving a total estimated tuition cost of $20,800. Transfer credits may be accepted. Please see the Tuition page for more information.
