To be admitted to the online Post-Master’s FNP Certificate program you must have the following:

NLN- or CCNE- accredited Master’s Degree in Nursing from a regionally accredited institution

3.0 GPA (master’s program)

Three letters of recommendation

Active unencumbered RN license

Letter of personal goals and aspirations

Following admission – background check and drug screening will be required
The FNP Certificate tuition is $650 per credit hour. Carson-Newman accepts many forms of financial and military aid, as well as employer tuition reimbursement. There are up to 32 credit hours in the FNP Certificate program, giving a total estimated tuition cost of $23,400*. Transfer credits may be accepted. Please see the Tuition page for more information.

Enrollment into a program does not guarantee licensure or certification. Each state has its own rules and regulations related to professional licensure requirements which can be changed at any time based on state discretion. The online Post-Master's Certificate program consists of 36 credit hours at part-time pacing and can be completed in as few as two years.
