"I feel like Carson-Newman really was a place that you could get your private school education at a state school price, which is phenomenal, in my opinion."

Life may have its challenges, but your school life can be manageable with a personal guide. At Carson-Newman University, a dedicated Student Success Advisor will serve as your liaison, so you’ll be supported throughout your educational journey.

With your Student Success Advisor, you’ll find balance, consistency, and open communication from your first day of classes until graduation.

“It's been a great experience working with [my Student Success Advisor]. She's always there to answer my questions and also to give me a heads up of what to expect as I progress through the program. She's always made sure that everything is ready to go and makes everything a smooth transition between each semester.”

- Ashley Leon (MSN-FNP student, class of 2022)

Lauren Crowe

"The faculty in general though, have been great. Any problems, any concerns? They always aid on the student side, willing to change whatever is needed. Talk to us on the phone, text us, email us back and forth, whatever is our best way of communication. They alter their meeting times. I know they're probably at home having dinner with their families, and they're talking to us on the phone, and that to me means a lot, 'cause they're making a personal connection with us."

- Lauren Crowe, Online MSN-FNP Student

Work-Life Balance

At Carson-Newman University, we designed our online FNP programs with today’s busy nursing professionals in mind.

Aside from clinicals, practicum, or residency, our coursework is 100% online and has no mandatory login times. Small class sizes also provide individual attention and allow for the opportunity to get to know your professors and classmates.

Our students appreciate the pace that is both manageable and efficient and allows a thorough mastery of the material while building competency. While taking no more than two classes at a time, our MSN-FNP students can earn their degree in as little as 32 months. Students enrolled in the Post-Master’s Certificate can graduate in two years or less.
