"Hi, my name is Amber Hopkins, and I am an MSN-FNP student with Carson-Newman University.
I chose Carson-Newman, actually for a few reasons. Mainly they're affordable. It's a program that is designed to be flexible, to work with nurses who still currently work full time. And then also the last part would be that they do clinical placement. And that was actually the most important aspect of what this program had to offer. Just because I know that it can be difficult to find clinical sites that you can complete your hours in."

"It is hard work being an online student in an MSN-FNP program. I dedicate a lot of my time when I'm not working to this program. They are providing me with the tools, they are providing me with the support, they are providing me with outstanding faculty.
I currently work full-time as a bedside nurse in a hospital. And this program is manageable. It's not by any means easy, but it's absolutely manageable. It's designed to where we can work full time, it is a part-time program."
